On either side of the coin, we, each of us is living what we must live to arrive at our chosen destiny. Beyond what shoes we wear, choice is engrained in our lives, our futures. You are most definitely correct - we live complacently when we can, as do lions sleep after filling their bellies. What many are missing, is knowing that they are vast and wonderous beyond imagination, so, they, we rejoice in trinkets of life, when, at our essence, we are the creators of life, of our lives. Many in America and other well-fed societies, live well fed, even when starvation is just around the corner.
The fall of society? Yes, it is falling, and those who live no further than their phones and instant gratification will be awakened, suddenly, and without recourse. On the other side of matters, those who see, simply need to know and live the infinincy they are. From choice, we live life to its infinite fullest, or we die at infinincies' worst. Either way, it is we, who choose and create our destiny. This, is both horrifically sad, and wondrously joyous. Again, our choice of which side of the coin we live is in our hands, our responsibility.
